Cosmopolitan Hotel in Old Town San Diego is amazing! This little gem in the heart of Old Town, is a sweet hotel, with just enough rooms to book the entire hotel for you and your family, bridal party or your guests to all stay and enjoy this vintage hotel, yummy food... and party all at the same location~
The Youngrens did an fantastic job of photographing this lovely wedding. Delshad and Matt decided to have their ceremony at a beautiful spot on Mission Bay. This is a location that they spend many fun times playing in the water with their boat... and enjoying sunsets together. So what a perfect place to have a wedding!
The historical park, and hotel made a perfect setting for this fabulous day. With hot lime green and purple as the color palette, mixing the earthy goodness of succulents, flowers and great fixtures, made this wedding sing with delight!
Chef Andrew at the Cosmopolitan made the entire menu, using recipes from Matt's Grandmothers cookbook from Greece. The ancestors were calling as the soup was presented to the guests as the first course. The food was out of this world! Perfect!
Matt's mother and aunts made all the Greek pastries, while Delshad mom made a traditional Mexican bread pudding for the guests to delight in after dinner. Carmin and her team set the stations with color, heights and lanterns. Old Chalkboards set around to guide guests in the menu, and choices they had.
What a great party, memorable wedding day, and a delight to have it all in such a vintage setting!

Here is a little note from Delshad and Matt:
Dear Carmin,
WE can't thank you enough for all your hard work and amazing vision for our wedding! You took what we said and incorporated our personalities into every detail! WE loved you hilarious and fun loving personality and can't wait for wedding season to slow down so we four can hang out!
Love you!
Delshad and Matt

KIMBER and JAMES
Wow what fun it was to do this wedding!
The details from family history where so rich with this wedding!
Old Cameras from James' family treasures, and old pair of skates, and a much loved skate board... Kimber searched high and low for perfect sets of Salt and Pepper sculptures to give to each of the guests to take home as a special memory of the day!
Kimber's bouquet, we had an idea to involve all the guests that came to the wedding. There where little bundles of flowers, each with cards for each of the guests to sign a wish to Kimber, then these bouquets where taken with the guests to the ceremony site. As Kimber and her father passed by, the guests handed their bundles to the center aisle, and they collected them to create her bouquet! So sweet, so beautiful!
At the end of the aisle, Kimber's mother had a cluster with wedding bands of grandparents that have past. Then James came forward and tied her bouquet together with a silk ribbon.
Every table had a thoughtful design, each with a special nick nack from grandmothers house, or James' family home. All very special, all very heart felt.
One great day!
A small celebration to their trailer they have remodeled... in little areas, and from place to place, a mock of their trailer was a symbol on the cards, on the invites and on the favor boxes... just a hint of retro travel and fun!

Tera and Dave wanted an amazing vintage home spun wedding. With adorable white fabric flowers in her hair, made of her mother's wedding dress; Tera rocked her beautiful wedding gown. Her "rock and roll" husband had a nod to his talents with music score sheets as their guest book, and music paper used in the details and on the table numbers. This couple wanted a back yard vintage feel, but coming from Arizona, needed a beach backyard to have their wedding. Renting the Ocean Beach Villas to have their wedding... made a perfect venue to have their wedding.
The family got together and made all the fabulous dessert cakes, and Carmin finished with the decor and candy... it all came together so sweetly!
The photographer Maurice from Betwixt made the wedding sing, His amazing eye, and perfect candid feel, make the touches and handy work of the bride show off perfectly! What a day we all had!
Sweet Sweet Sweet
How adorable was this wedding?
Rene and Tony, so loving, so kind....
Their wedding was held at the Thursday Club in Point Loma.
Photographed by the amazing Maurice from Betwixt, Mo knew exactly what he needed to do to capture this event perfectly. He was hoping all over to capture all the down home details, and videoing here and there. He has a great talent, and the bride and groom just shine here in the day! www.betwixtstudio.com
Our Catering was brought in by Phil's BBQ... Can we say more? My team and I carefully displayed all the food in a "pot luck" 1960's feel... using my grandmothers corning ware, and other Tupperware pieces, plus the use of hot colored containers really was so fun in the displays.
